Born in Athens, Greece, Ioannis has been a sound engineer for 22 years working in live concerts and doing voice overs. His skydiving career has seen him working in Germany and the USA as a skydiving instructor and camera flyer. Now based back home in Greece at Skydive Athens, he prominently does tandems and AFF to pay for the “non stop” necessity to upgrade his camera equipment.
Ioannis follows as many skydiving events and boogies as possible, having filmed over some amazing places like Egypt, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Indonesia or the Maldives. He was the official photographer and organiser of the 1st Greek National FS record.
In his career he has been lucky enough to cross paths with some of the sport’s most remarkable individuals, including the world champions in 4-Way FS team “Hayabusa”. Not only having the chance to document their impressive training and event jumps every year, but also had the honour of building a great friendship.
