Price and Terms of Payment
Prices payable by the Customer are available in different currencies as selected on the website. Sometimes our pricing may vary due to special promotions only available through our online store. We reserve the right to adjust our prices at any time.
Prices indicated on the website exclude any Value Added Tax or Sales Tax. GST will be payable in New Zealand Dollars if the shipping address is New Zealand.
The invoiced price includes shipping costs to your agreed address, however does not include any import taxes and duties that your country may require for clearance purposes. It is the responsibility of the Customer to pay any such charges. Please ask your customs department for rates and limits before you place an order.
We will always endeavour to fulfil your order once completed and paid. Should a product become unavailable after your order has been confirmed and paid, when relevant, we will offer you a replacement of equal price and quality. Our sales team will contact you to negotiate a suitable solution; which may be but is not limited to a newer product, a discount, or in justified cases a full refund. If you accept the replacement, and then wish to return it to us in the conditions outlined under Returns and exchanges, the return postage will be covered by us. If you choose to decline this offer, and the original product is permanently unavailable, we will reimburse the price of the unavailable product.
Your payment is processed through Payment Express. We accept payment by credit card (Visa/Mastercard), or bank wire transfer.
If you choose to pay by bank wire transfer, please select the option to pay the bank fees on both sides, otherwise these fees will be deducted from the invoice value we receive. These transactions may take up to 3 working days to process. At payment checkout you will see the bank account numbers that relate to your selected currency. Note that New Zealand banks do not require an IBAN.
A deposit of US$500 per canopy is payable upon placing an order. This deposit is non-refundable if the Customer has not paid the balance in full upon 6 weeks from first email advice that the canopy is complete. The canopy will also be returned to stock at this date.
All orders will be shipped once payment has been received in full and all products in the order in question become available or complete. Upon request we may be able to ship certain products separately, if the difference in time of availability is significant.
The shipping address can be changed anytime before the order leaves the factory. Once it has left the factory there is an additional fee charged by the courier, to be paid for by the Customer.
Shipments are held for 5 working days at destination to obtain customs duties clearance. If returned to NZ Aerosports there will be additional cost for return and re-shipment. This cost varies from country to country and will be on charged to the Customer.
Risk and retention of title
Title to the Products will pass to the Customer upon dispatch.
If goods are damaged in transit, you should report any damaged or lost items to email@example.com including a description of the damage and photos of the damaged packaging/product. Risk of loss for products purchased from NZ Aerosports passes to you upon delivery of items to the carrier. Please file any claims for damaged or lost shipment to the shipping company within 14 days of delivery. That said, we’ll do what we can to help out where we are able.
Returns and exchanges
We offer a full refund or an exchange (different size or type of canopy) within the first 10-15 jumps if the customer isn’t satisfied with any part of the canopy. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to organise return freight.
If something isn’t working as it should, email email@example.com to discuss the problem.
Parachutes sometimes fail to function properly, even when correctly assembled, packed and operated, so that the risk for serious injuries or even death exists each time you use this system. NZ Aerosports makes no warranty, either expressed or implied, and disclaims any liability in tort for damages, personal injuries or death. Warranty for manufacturing quality is covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
