Order information

Orders may be completed online, phoned in, E-Mailed, Faxed or sent in by mail. Daedalus canopies orders from North America are done through our online canopy designer at www.daedaluscanopies.com/canopydesigner.htm

Our contact information is listed at the bottom of the downloadable order form. Be sure to send your order to the correct office depending on your country of origin. We will contact you with any queries and will let you know when to expect delivery. Our delivery times vary depending on how much work we have on at the time. Generally they run from 6-8 weeks but you may want to check before ordering.

At times we can handle rush requests and may quote you extra for the service. feel free to ask us about it. (this is not always an available option)

Canopy Graphics (Logo's, Custom Artwork on canopy etc.) will be quoted.

Technical Considerations

With our computerized cutting system, all our canopies are made in custom colors and sizes, however making canopies with more than say 4 colors in it is very time consuming as we must program and cut a separate lay for each color. We don't charge any extra for this but, unless you have your heart set on it, try and steer them away from that tacky eighties type rainbow and towards that nice very funky nineties solid color design.

From time to time we may have a run on a color. If this happens and we are unable to resolve it to complete an order we may ask you to give us a second color option, we generally know if this is the case at time of ordering.

Shipping

North America and Europe customers must pay shipping from New Zealand. The cost of shipping by FedEx to the USA cost between $70-$100. FedEx shipping times vary a little but are generally around: NZ - 1 day; Australia - 1 to 2 days, USA - 2 to 3 days, Other countries - 1 to 12 days.

We cannot FedEx to a PO Box, unless using the postal system. Please make sure you use a physical address.

Import duties

Make sure you understand the customs and clearance fees that may apply to your country as these are "your costs" and not included in the total price. Let us know how you want the customs declaration to read for simple custom clarification. Again, any import duties are the responsibility of the customer or receiver (that's you).

Payment Methods

We accept payment in the following ways:

• Cash
• Bank wire transfer
• Credit Card (we accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express)
• Certified check or money order (no personal checks)

By far the easiest payment method for individual orders is by credit card. The whole order process can be done in one fax or call. Deposits made be paid using Paypal through our US office but the balance cannot be paid using Paypal and only by the payment methods listed above..

Telegraphic Transfer (or TT or Wire Transfer) is the simplest for large amounts of money. You still have to go to your bank but you don't have to post anything and then wait. The funds are cleared instantly on their arrival in our account.

You may pay us in any currency so long as we end up within 1% of the US$ value. If you are converting funds anyway, then New Zealand dollars are the simplest for us and save us converting your funds for a second time.

All orders must be paid in full before they leave our factory. We require up to a 35%  deposit depending on the order type, then the balance is due when the canopy ready to be shipped to you. The downloadable form is at the top of the page.
