Nick Batsch scored first place flying Petra in a field of 41 competitors from around the world at FLCPA meet #5 at Skydive the Farm this weekend.
He also set a new Georgia State and National ‘Competition’ distance record at the event with a score of 131.19 meters. This is a record category that had been eliminated (for the last few years there have been ‘Performance’ records), but the FAI and USPA brought it back in due to the rule changes in distance, allowing a new area for records to be set.
Nick was in first place with 548.44 points, Greg Windmiller in second with 535.73 points, and Curt Bartholomew in third with 518.81 points.
Kelsey Mizeur did an awesome job on his JVX in the distance rounds of the amateur class and graduated to the Pro class. He scored a 135.08 and 137.30, getting the top scores in both rounds!
Congratulations to Nick, Kelsey and all the other competitors – love your work!
