JVX sets new distance World Record

Tue 13 January 09

Nick Batsch set the new 'distance' World record of 169.9 meters (557.4 feet) flying a JVX79 at the recent World Championships of Canopy Piloting in South Africa.

Nick out swooped 69 other competitors in the distance event to take the record.

Nick had a deep entrance on the gates and kept his canopy and body low to the ground with a slight climb up the course transferring from the rear risers to the toggles as he glided to settle in at 169.61 meters, capturing first place in distance, second overall, and another world record.

Congratulations Nick!
